This award-winning Interlink Navigator puts the power of presentation in the palm of your hand. I designed this remote in 2002 and it is still being produced today after 17 years. Design is in the details.

The two remotes in this series use a stamped aluminum button pad as well as an aluminum top cover cap that adheres to the abs top. This is an eye catching remote in its simplicity and soft aluminum covering yet still retaining sharp, tactile features.

A few design explore concepts

Below is the Interlink Presenter remote. This has a black out screen button as well as a mouse. The unconventional shape really feels amazing in the hand and proves that a soft, gooey, flowing form is not always the only approach when creating ergonomic devices.

ABOUT RYAN

Being a Designer, I believe in exploring ideas from scratch – “from cardboard” if necessary. The mistakes made and thus the lessons learned from the rough first tries only builds knowledge from these trial and errors. I believe and thrive in the live / learn by doing process.
