Two day project for the Office of CTO to create a UI that graphically runs and posts computational storage performance results. Simple and fun for a techy crown that is for internal use and trade show demos.

Final Design

The timeline horse has a fun action with a 3 position image that rocks back and forth as the test runs. This simple movement (design) excited a team of scientists and the UI gave them a platform to display their highly technical work results on that no one typically sees. Design can bring excitement to fields/divisions that don't typically see FUN. This was the case for the computational storage project. Design is not just for consumer products - design motivates and brings teams together for internal, text projects too.

ABOUT RYAN

Being a Designer, I believe in exploring ideas from scratch – “from cardboard” if necessary. The mistakes made and thus the lessons learned from the rough first tries only builds knowledge from these trial and errors. I believe and thrive in the live / learn by doing process.
