I was asked by Cardiac Science to work on an extremely quick project to explore a few concepts for their next gen portable defibrillator. This monitor will be a lightweight, rugged and portable device designed for use by professionals in medically-supervised environments to respond to cardiac emergencies. Similar to Cardiac Science’s line of portable AEDs, the new device is extremely easy to use, while still incorporating advanced resuscitation and pacing therapies for use by the trained medical professional.
