A NOTE from the designer
The Alcon Infiniti user interface was my first medical UI and I was given the task just a few months out of school. The Alcon office was right next door to the agency that I worked at so weekly in person meetings made collaboration and screen reviews a quick and easy process. I brought NEW thinking and 3D rendered elements (cassettes, hand pieces, phaco tips, foot pedal) in conjunction with simple, easy to read, and 2D information panels to achieve a ground breaking and beautiful UI for the next generation of cataract surgery.
Exterior Design: I was not involved in any aspect of the Infiniti machine INDUSTRIAL DESIGN.
